Happy Friday, Friends and welcome to Waffle Flower’s February 2021 Release day! Therefore, today I’m blog hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new stuff awaiting you on the their website which is full of stamps, dies, and stencils that celebrate the hope and joy of Spring! So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made this “Spring Bloom” interactive card ↓
Therefore, to make this card I started by creating a partial die-cutting straight up over an A2 top folding white card base so to do that, I lined up the die from Spring Blooms Matching Die and then, I line up the plates from my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over it at the mark of 3-1/2’’ inches keeping the card base open and the die on the top opening of the card.
Thus, right after that I’ve got the partial die-cutting done over the card base, I went ahead to score line which I’ve gone ahead to fold it over, as you’ll see in the image below.
That said, to close the opening from the partial die-cutting and to reinforce the card base, I went ahead to adhere a piece of white cardstock inside of the card base using double-sided tape and then, I also got adhere a strip of gold cardstock on the edge of the outside part of the folding.
Once, I had the steps done for the card base, I went ahead to set it off aside to get the stamping done for the Spring flower arrangement. Thus for the stamping, I went ahead to line up the large stamp image from Stencil-n-Stamp: Spring Blooms over an A2 standard size white card panel and I got the image stamped using Misty Coast Ink. Next, I used the stencils from the combo to ink up each flower and leaves using a full array of bright spring color inks by The Stamp Market.
Moving on, right after that I’ve got the stamping done, I went ahead to line up its coordinated die and then, I ran them through the die-cutting machine. Therefore, once I had that done, I went ahead to adhere the stamped die-cutting over a plain white die-cutting and then, I’ve gotten both glue down with liquid glue over the card base (as shown in the image above.) Lastly, I finished the card off by mounting a sentiment over the card base and other underneath as shown as well in the image above. By the way, both sentiments are part of Oversized Hope Stamp Set and the scalloped dies are from A2 Lacy Layers Die set.
As a finishing touches, I went ahead to add some sparkle by gluing down to the center of the flowers a combination of jewels and I also used my Copic Markers in W1 and YR23 to add touches of colors to the anthers of the large flowers and a subtle pop of color to some of the flowers. With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Spring Bloom” interactive inspiration card. Next on the hop is → Renne Day
